Spouse:  Jim (We will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in December.)

Children:  Theresa Jo-37 and Christopher James-35

Grandchildren:  Emily-11 and Zachary-7

     On December 31, 1958 Jim and I were married.  We moved to Onawa and I worked various jobs for the first eleven years of marriage.  We adopted our daughter, who was three weeks old, and I became a stay at home mom.  Two and a half years later we adopted our son, who was six days old, and I continued to stay home and raise our family.  We were very active at the First Christian Church.

     In 1980 we owned and operated Shook Jewelers at Onawa.  In 1982 we moved our store to Southern Hills Mall in Sioux City.  After we closed our store we moved back to Onawa and once again I stayed home to raise our children.

     Even though we are retired, we have a jewelry repair shop in our home where we do both wholesale and retail jewelry work.  Over the years, I have done Artwork of all kinds.
