We lived in Illinois for the first 10 years after we got married, owned a couple of restaurants there and decided to move back to Decatur.  I got my GED; we got another restaurant and ran it for a few years.  Then I went to Metro Tech in Elkhorn and got my Associates Degree in Commercial Art, and after that went back to Illinois and attended Northern Illinois University for a semester.  I moved back to Omaha and worked in a screen printing business as Art Director for several years.

After Brad and Susan both moved to Florida and I visited them a couple of times, I decided to move and have been here for 21 years.  I have worked in two different sign shops here, designing signs, hand lettering and working on the sign computer.

Driving to and from Orlando every day was getting tiresome so I accepted a job with Seminole County Government Public Works in Traffic Engineering division and have worked in the studies department for 15 years, and have done everything from entering crash report date to being the Project Manager for safety projects.

For fun I enjoy cookouts with friends, boating, although I don't do much of that any more, antiquing, reading and reality shows.  I have enjoyed decorating and remodeling my house and working in the yard (in the winter, not the summer).
