Funeral Services for Maxine Ford Deckard, 60, who died June 8, 1991 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, were held at Hamel and Peck Funeral Home in Tekamah, NE, on Wednesday June 12, 1991.  Burial was at the Tekamah Cemetery.  A prayer service was held on Tuesday, evening, 7 P.M., June 11, at Hamel and Peck Funeral Home.

 Maxine was the daughter of Walter and Hazel (Miller) Ford, born February 13, 1931 and died June 8, 1991.

 Maxine attended country school near Tekamah and graduated from Decatur High School in 1948.  After graduation, she was employed with Mutual of Omaha, Omaha, NE.

On March 3, 1950 she married Kenneth Deckard from Lyons, NE.  They lived in the Lyons area, later moving to Blair, NE.  She is survived by her husband, Kenneth and six children, Debbie, Terry,Tom, Ron, Ken and Wayne, 6 sisters and one brother. At the time of her death she had eight grandchildren.
