After graduation I was employed at J C Penney in Red Oak, IA until my marriage in 1949.

After Bill's discharge from the Marines we returned to Iowa until 1962 when he became a policeman in Denver, CO.

We co-owned a fast food restaurant for several years and I worked for several years in a florist shop before retiring.  After Bill's retirement in 1987 we returned to Iowa where we live on a small acreage.

Our children and grandchildren are our greatest joy, so we return to Colorado frequently as well as other traveling.  We are very involved in our church and community and enjoy visiting friends and family.
