I enjoy camping, hunting and fishing as hobbies and also being a Boy Scout Leader.  I attended two quarters of college at Colorado State University.  I started working with the Colorado Department of Transportation in construction survey and then shifted to Highway Design and retired after 40 years.  I have now worked for them on a part-time basis for the past six years.

As a Scout Leader for 37 or so years, I have received the Scout Masters Key as Scout Manager and Commissioner, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, Distinguished Commissioner, Adult Religious Award, Vigil Honor in The Order of the Arrow (Boy Scouts Honor Society) with Outstanding Adult (voted on by youth) 4 times and Founder's Award.

Positions held include:  Webelos Leader, Assistant Cub Master, Scout Master, Co-Lodge Advisor, Unit Commissioner, Assistant Scout Master, District Committee Member, Lodge Advisor, Chapter Advisor, Associate Lodge Advisor, Troop Chaplain, District Trainer and Contingent Leader to 10 National Order of the Arrow Conferences.
