Harold M. "Brub" Olson (deceased)

 

 

 September 22, 1932 - June 1, 1987

 

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the RLDS Church in Decatur for former Decatur resident, Harold M. "Brub" Olson, 54, of Pewaukee, WI.  He died Monday, June 1, 1987, at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born September 22, 1932, at Decatur to Harold W. and Frances (Maryott) Olson.  On March 30, 1957, he married Betty Ketterman at the RLDS Church in Walthill.  The couple moved to Pewaukee during the summer of 1960, where Olson worked as an end loader operator for Johnson Sand & Gravel Company in Waukesha, WI for a number of years.

He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 139C, of Milwaukee and a member of VFW Post No. 9537 of Pewaukee.  Olson served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of the RLDS Church.

Survivors include his wife; one sister, Edna (Mrs. Don) Hightree of Decatur; three brothers-in-law, Charles Clark and his wife, Barbara, of Flora, Il;  Elmer Ketterman and his wife, Dorothy, of Waterford, WI; and Jim Ketterman and his wife, Sara, of Liberty, IL, several nieces and nephews.
