Frank H. Muhe
Information taken from the May 26, 1996 Decatur Alumni Banquet booklet After graduation I lived and farmed 1 mile west of Decatur. IN 1957 I put the farm in the soil bank and went to work in Omaha as a welder at Independent Metal, now Fruehauf. 9 months later I went to work as a mechanic on food and drink vending machines for 3 years. Also attended electronics school for 2 years from 1961 to 1963. I worked at Boeing in Seattle in electronics on the Minuteman Missal Project. I returned to Omaha in 1963, sold health and accident insurance for a year, then went into the food and drink vending business and am still in it. I have had my own company since 1969. As long as I am physically able, I plan to keep on working; hopefully until age 70. My wife, Judy, and I have been married 31 years. I have 2 children and 1 grandchild. |
