Larry (Whitey) Redding (deceased)

Larry "Whitey" Redding, 59, died September 14, 1998, at his home in Warrenton, Mo.  Services were September 17 at Douglas Brown Chapel in Warrenton with interment at Warrenton City Cemetery.

He was born March 8, 1939, in Decatur, to Glen and Lydia (Knapp) Redding.  He graduated from Decatur High School in 1956.

Redding was a telephone engineer who had worked in Iowa or Missouri all his working years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Lisa Hake; two brothers, Lawrence and Mike; and two sisters, Lois Neighbors and Edith Tondl.

Survivors include his wife, Martha (Wirts) Redding; son, Jeff; and daughter Julie Null; all of Warrenton; four sisters, Esther Redding and Opal Neighbors, both of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Alice Harvey of Dade City, FL, and Doris Ueding of Onawa, Iowa; one brother, Charlie Redding of Decatur; and eight grandchildren.
